In almost every romance film the story ends with a proposal, a wedding, or simply a happily ever after. Well our happily ever after isn't an ending for anything, it's our beginning.
We've been married for about a month and it's been wonderful so far. We live in a little apartment in Taylorsville Utah. We will only be here until the end of June, when we plan to move right next door to South Jordan Ut. Although our apartment occasionally smells like cigarette smoke (despite our best efforts) that is not the reason we're leaving so soon. You see we desperately needed a place to live after the honeymoon, as most couples do, so our best and cheapest option was to pick up the last two months of someone's lease here. We were going to try and extend the lease but it worked out perfectly that some of our family has a basement opening up around the time we need to move out.
The reason we're in this area in the first place is because my brilliant husband has an internship at Landesk software (which is in South Jordan) on the product management team. It is kind of a bummer that he works from 8 to 5 everyday, because I get awfully bored at home without him, especially when I'm stuck without the truck. Like today, so I just find random things to do around the house, like start up a blog for the two of us.
I don't just sit around at home all the time, I usually babysit Devin and Joanna's three adorable children. (Devin & Joanna are Aaron's aunt and uncle, and I guess mine too now) But they are in Hawaii for two weeks, so I'm out of work until then. Anyway once the weather gets a bit nicer I can waste my days by the pool or maybe even go hiking.
